[When the video starts off there are several machine-like parts on the ground. Most of them seem to be painted pink. There are sounds that sound awfully like someone building something-- and sighing.]

It's really no use... if only Athrun would be here...

[The voice belongs to Kira who's trying to build a Haro for Lacus. As a birthday present. Now while he's good with technology he's not really good at making new things. Fixing them sure, but making something from a scratch -- not so much. It doesn't help that the sources around here are pretty limited.

It doesn't mean he can't try.

More sounds. Parts being lifted up from the ground. Parts floating in the air.

-- wait what?]

Magnemite, what did I tell you about going around at a time like this...

[Ah, that explains it. The parts fall down with a crash and the scene continues.

It seems that Kira is really unaware he's being filmed until the moment the gear is actually brought into his view. Say hi?]

-- Eevee, please don't play with that- it's filming? [There goes the surprised. Kira looks a bit confused and awkward.] This is just an experiment of sorts.

[He'll just shut the gear now as he's not really sure what he should say.]

I'm trying to see if I can build something that we have in our world. [It's harder than Athrun makes it look.] I don't think we have enough parts in this world for that...

[Okay, so now you have +1 extremely interested mechanic here.] I should do that for something from my world too. [Automail~! ...Why doesn't she have a Skarmory by now is an excellent question.] Maybe you could replace some of the materials with something from this world if that works at all.

I've tried to think of solutions for the missing parts... but none of them have really worked. [Was it the parts or the person doing the project, who knew?]

Are you a mechanic?

Oh, I'm glad to do anything, but I specialize in my world's special thing called automail. They are quite advanced prosthetic limbs.

You could always lock the video away from her eyes, but that doesn't stop her from walking in. [So it's for Lacus! Interesting.]

Mmm, they are really amazing. You can even hide weapons into them, and make different automails for summer and winter. [Aaaaand everything else. Where's my FMA manga info book]

Sounds quite convenient. Especially the fact that you can get a different one for different season... some metals work better in different situations, after all.

Well, at least she wouldn't see the video if you filtered it from her, then she can't even see it. ...Though yeah, as I said, if she knows where you are, she could still walk into the situation.

Yeah, tell me about it. I come from a country where we have several different climates and an idiot went to the northern part of the place with regular automails. He's alive, but he almost froze ... [to death, kind of. But then again he was almost killed by something else entirely and it had nothing to do with his automail.]

I should really just get a Skarmory and make some kind of an automail here.

Well, I kind of didn't have time to warn him about it either, so it wasn't completely his fault. Then I got to see snow, because other mechanics won't even touch someone else's automails... Even my grandmother stays away from my work.

[She'll be the world's best automail mechanic one day, yes!]

Heee, well if the Skarmory is your friend, it would help you with anything, right? At least that's what a friend of mine said to me.

That's understandable. I mean, back at home everyone works on their own units and rarely touches anyone else's...

I could breed one for you in the future, though you'll probably get one before I can start breeding it with my Altarias. Good luck with that! I can at least recommend getting one very much.

...But the fighting part is ...Well, I'm not a fighter at all unless I'm forced to use some kind of tactics in some situations. Geez, I'm not even a friend of fighting, so...

You know, let's just say that I come from a country full of war and leave it at that.

So, is a mecha even a little like a Golurk?

I can relate to that... we had two wars in short period of time. [And he was a main key in both of them. It's hard to be a Gundam protagonist.]

A bit. Golurk and Magnezone are the closest I've seen to mechas.

It's alright. We recently managed to end the second one... and are working towards peace. [Have a reassuring smile.]

I've heard you can even fly with a Golurk... despite it being a ground-type Pokémon.

I've seen someone fly with them on a video post, so it really is possible. I can't wait to get the HM and try it myself.

I'm looking forward to flying as well. I mean, I've flown with the help of Lacus' and Athrun's Pokémon, but I want to be able to try it by myself... especially since my starter is a flying-type.
