[Kira has been in this world for almost a month now. There has been quite a few questions in his mind for some time now. He could ask most of the questions over the network, but today there's only one question in his mind that he's curious about.

What are you fighting for?

That's a pretty vague question. Do you mean in general, when we decide to go out of town with our teams, something else?

Yes. There might have been a time once when I didn't know, but the answer is very clear to me now.

In general. This place, like many other places, has situations where you're made to choose what you're fighting for. The answer isn't always simple. Of course you may choose to not fight at all or you might not able to.

The question can be thought of as both, even if my initial thoughts were on the later part. I've heard this place has several dangerous situations, which is partly why I asked.

Fighting to protect is a good reason.

These days I'm fighting because a small army of critters wakes me up at six in the morning to train. If there's another reason for us to battle in this world, I haven't found it yet.

Yes, though please remember that you should also protect yourself as well. Protecting yourself is also a way of protecting others, because you won't be making anyone sad by getting hurt.
