[Kira has been in this world for almost a month now. There has been quite a few questions in his mind for some time now. He could ask most of the questions over the network, but today there's only one question in his mind that he's curious about.

So have an open question for anyone and everyone over the network:]

What are you fighting for?

(ooc: Just a warning that tags for all of my characters (Shiraishi, Takuto, Ren, Aidou, Kira) might be few to nonexistent from Friday to Sunday.)

mostly to see how strong I can get, I guess. find out if I can overcome whatever challenges this place throws my way!

unless you mean it like when some bad shit is happening, cause then it's to protect people I care about.

The question can be thought of as both, even if my initial thoughts were on the later part. I've heard this place has several dangerous situations, which is partly why I asked. Fighting to protect is a good reason.

dangerous? happens. mostly when team rocket attacks. you might wanna watch out for those.

There haven't been many yet, but they're all different from one another, as should be expected.

That's a pretty vague question. Do you mean in general, when we decide to go out of town with our teams, something else?

In general. This place, like many other places, has situations where you're made to choose what you're fighting for. The answer isn't always simple. Of course you may choose to not fight at all or you might not able to.

These days I'm fighting because a small army of critters wakes me up at six in the morning to train. If there's another reason for us to battle in this world, I haven't found it yet.

With luck you might never need find the other reason, but it's always good to be prepared.

There's always the option of trying to become the best trainer around, like the locals want us to do. But I don't feel like it at the moment.

[ Lacus finally found Kira and that made her breathe a sigh of relief. Seeing him like this was so familiar and nostalgic to her. It was so similar to the moments he disappeared back home.

Quietly, she walked towards him and gently placed her head on his shoulder. ]
